At Ich feier mich selbst - Gönn dir!
(„I celebrate myself - Treat yourself!") girls* design and produce feminist merchandise such as stickers, bracelets, gym bags and t-shirts. The results are presented in a short film and a staged online shop. Against hate and for friendship.
The focus of the project is on the self-determined staging of girls* and the joy of individual expression: self-love, best friends, counter speech and actions against hate. They express these themes poetically through a screen printing workshop, a sticker campaign in public spaces and a video clip. The girls* are not consumers*, but producers* of their own content and unique merchandise. These will be presented on a website that is modeled after the aesthetics of conventional online shops, but on a content level spreads the message of the girls*: listen to me, see me, don't look away from sexism and racism, take responsibility and yes, we celebrate ourselves!
